Run an Ubuntu GNOME image (ISO) test and report your results

The image tracker records all our results from manual test runs of installing Ubuntu. Download the latest Ubuntu GNOME daily image and run a test against the Xenial Daily milestone. This is recommended to be done on a test machine or in a virtual machine.

  1. Download a daily image from the cdimage server
  2. Select an Ubuntu GNOME test case on the QA tracker site (ie, 'Install - Manual Partitioning')
  3. Submit a result of "In progress" on the test case you are running
  4. Run the test case and report your results on the ISO Tracker.
  5. To confirm we need your Launchpad username and link to your report.

The following wiki pages and the help text on the tracker will guide you. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/QATracker https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/ISO/Walkthrough
