Improve Lubuntu bug reports

Bug reports are a great way for developers to find problems so solve. However, if the report is not clear or the bug not reproducible, it's hard to do much with them. Your job is to make sure at least 3 bug reports are ready to start being worked on by the developers.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Search for bugs through the Lubuntu Packages Team on Launchpad or find a bug specifically affecting a core Lubuntu package (if this is the case, make sure to subscribe the Lubuntu Packages Team).
  2. For any bugs that are of status New, check to see if the steps to reproduce are clear. If not, ask for more information and go to the last step.
  3. If steps to reproduce are clear, attempt to reproduce (using same versions; use a virtual machine as needed).
  4. If it is reproducible, click the "affects me, too" button, then make the title more concise and descriptive, and finally edit the description so that it has clear sections "steps to reproduce," "expected results," "actual results," and "notes" and remove any extraneous information.
  5. Repeat the above steps for at least two other bugs. You can always do more!
  6. Include a link to the bug pages.
  • Bonus points if you find the upstream bug tracker and report a bug there, linking both bugs to each other!
