The DIAL Open Source Center is a collaborative community for the world's leading open source software projects that make the world better through international development & humanitarian response.

We are a GCI umbrella organization hosting multiple software projects participating in the contest this year. We work with many of the leading projects in this area -- see below for a more detailed list.

An initiative of the United Nations Foundation, the Digital Impact Alliance helps open source projects set up leadership and governance teams, assists with software project management, and helps projects develop better ways for people to contribute. We also provide technical, architectural, and software development support for projects; and help them with support, engagement, management of their communities of contributors and users.
