[docker-openwisp] Getting started with Docker

Openwisp is developing a containerized deployment model to take advantage of horizontal scaling, repeatable deployments and simplified user customization in cloud-native environments. If you are interested in contributing to the docker-openwisp effort you'll first need to learn about Docker.

Follow the Docker-CE installation guide for your distribution of linux at https://docs.docker.com/install/.

Complete Part 1 and Part 2 of the Docker Getting-Started guide.

Upon completion of Part 2,

  1. Tag your container with your GCI student name and GCI2019. (ex. /get-started: -GCI2019)
  2. Push the container to your Docker Hub account.
  3. Upload the link to your published container on Docker Hub to the GCI system.
  4. Attach a screenshot of the working container on your machine.
