openwisp-controller relies on django-loci which inturn relies on django-channels for websocket communication. The openwisp-controller repository needs to be updated to accomodate for the changes of the new version of django-channels. For that, you need to update django-loci dependency in the openwisp-controller. Create a pull request for the same and submit the link to the pull request.
