Introduction

I've had this idea in my daydreams like I've always had.

How hard is it to identify a movie using a scene from it? You take a picture of a scene and it tells you that it's from Interstellar for example and shows you relevant facts.

What would that require to be done, how can we accomplish it, realize it, optimize that to be smooth and fast. Research some techniques, methods and write about them here :)

Task

Write a document describing the kind of system you will build to recognize a movie given a picture or video from a scene.
