Open Roberta

Learning new languages with EV3 leJos

Background

The Open Roberta Lab gives all people an easy entry into coding. If someone wants to switch to textual programming after some time, she/he can take the generated code and our libraries from the Open Roberta Lab and go on working with it.

Task

Take an EV3 leJos program from the Open Roberta Lab and migrate it into an eclipse project. Take the code that is shown in the code view and import all necessary libraries from the Open Roberta Lab GitHub project, in order to do so. Also make sure, that all necessary compilers and tools are installed. Document each step and create a tutorial with them, that someone who does it for the first time can use to migrate from the Open Roberta Lab to eclipse. Use the eclipse for Java IDE. You do not need to document how to install eclipse, nor how to install the necessary compilers and tools. But you have to document which compilers and tools you used.

Deliverables

A Google-Doc that contains the tutorial to migrate an Open Roberta Lab program for EV3 leJos to an eclipse project.
