Background

When astronauts fly into outer space or to the ISS they use most of their time to do scientific research and experiments. Did you ever think about what kind of experiments they are doing up there.

Task

Do some research and find out what kind of experiments they are conducting on the ISS.

Why are they doing their experiments in outer space and not on earth? What kind of influences can be compensated by doing the experiments in outer space? Can you think of any experiment you would like to do in outer space and why?
