There is a documented warning in current version [V 0.2.24] of package bdvis.

Warning: Raster pixels are placed at uneven horizontal intervals and will be shifted. Consider using geom_tile() instead. [https://github.com/vijaybarve/bdvis/issues/110]

Suggest a solution to get rid of this warning. This will involve modifying the code for the function mapgrid.
