The ns-3 Network Simulator Project

Option '--run' vs '--run-no-build'

Typically, a ns-3 user would use --run to execute C++ programs. Recently, a new option called '--run-no-build' has been provided to execute C++ programs in ns-3. In this task, the student is expected to:

  1. Prepare a small one paragraph of difference between --run and --run-no-build.
  2. Use first.cc as an example program and show the difference when each of these options is used.
  3. Submit the write-up and snapshots showing the output when each of these options are used.
