[VideoCutTool] Create a video of working model of VideoCutTool and upload it to Commons
VideoCutTool is a tool to trim, crop, rotate on-the-fly videos in Wikimedia Commons. It is hosted in Wikimedia Toolforge and can be found at https://tools.wmflabs.org/video-cut-tool/
Task:
- Learn how to use VideoCutTool from Commons: VideoCutTool
- Select any feature in any combinations (Rotate/Crop/Trim/Rotate+Crop/Trim+Crop/.....) in VideoCutTool.
- Record a screencast video of working of VideoCutTool (preferably in a quiet place so your voice can be heard clearly when you are describing what you are doing in the video). The worst thing that might happen is that we give you feedback and you have to repeat the less-than-a-minute video again.
- Upload your video to Wikimedia Commons in a free video format under VideoCutTool category - see https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Video#Video_formats
- Aim to have less than 1-minute duration.
Helpful tips:
- In general, you want to use bigger font sizes. Viewers don't need to read plain text, but bigger fonts help them understand what is going on.
- Please do not show any trademarked logos (for example the logo of your operating system) in your video.
- Speaking a bit slower than usual makes it easier for non-native speakers to follow your voice and actions.
