The Julia Programming Language
Interview Julia Contributors.
The purpose of this task is for you to reach out to various Julia community contributors and perform a remote interview via email or chat with one or more contributors. Some example questions could include:
- how they got started with Julia
- what they enjoy most about working with Julia
- what challenges are involved
- how they got involved in the community
- how the community has evolved over time and where it is headed
- what their advice is to someone looking to begin learning about Julia or contribute to the project
- and so on.
The ultimate goal would be to develop a blogpost based on the interview that could be published by Julia. The result should be uploaded as a text file or PDF.
Please co-ordinate with your mentor about which contributor to reach out to. Please do not contact multiple contributors by yourself without checking with your mentor.
