TOP TOP TOP task: Use Liquid Galaxy VM and test our WikimediaData project

Plenty of students have worked on a VM Liquid Galaxy installation, and the ones selected are those : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1OTsMnwP7du5Qp3aBXJ2X1CU-w9fvADM5?usp=sharing Take a look at the excelent work of this students, and choose whatever option you want.

Using this system we want you to test our WikimediaData project, developed by GSoC 2017 student Guillem Barbosa.

First take a look at this urls to get a clear idea of the project How we started to prepare it 2 years in advance visiting Wikimedia foundation in San Francisco https://www.liquidgalaxy.eu/2018/11/gsoc-2015-wikipedia-liquid-galaxy-mashup.html The basic project https://www.liquidgalaxy.eu/2018/12/gsoc-2017-wikimedia-data-liquid-galaxy.html The video final presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmuImubjR_k&feature=youtu.be The code: https://github.com/LiquidGalaxyLAB/WikimediaDataProject

Also you can see this task made by GCI student Terence 2 years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwXVVQDng0o

Task is:

  • Install or have installed the Liquid Galaxy VM system
  • install the project
  • create a 2 minutes .mp4 video showing how it works The video has to have your voice (not faces, not names) explaining what you're showing us and talking about the installing experience briefly.

Delivery: send to lgcodein@gmail.com and post there the video in .mp4. (if too big share a drive address)

There will be a series of tasks like this one, where you'll have to install our applications and record a video.
