BRL-CAD

Design the LibreCAD icon within LibreCAD, import it to BRL-CAD and extrude it to make it 3D

NOTE: LibreCAD is not a part of BRL-CAD. You have to install a binary package of LibreCAD or build it from Source (separate Task).

Design the LibreCAD icon with LibreCAD, 100 x 100 units. The icon exists in various image formats, but not DXF. Be accurate! Use a PNG image to measure the proportions and construct the icon outlines thorough. Save the design in DXF format and use the DXF file for import in BRL-CAD.

In BRL-CAD extrude the LibreCAD icon that the four squares in the edges becomes dices. To learn about 3D modeling in BRL-CAD, find and finish separate tasks first.
