Create a statik blog about your GCI journey

Note :- This task is only allowed for those students who have already completed two non-beginner tasks.

This task is to create a new data-centric blog using statik.

It must be hosted on GitHub, GitLab or BitBucket, and use CI to automatically be deployed. Deployment may use the Netlify integrations, or statik's netlify publish.

The blog should have a blog like appearance, but it must not include any "personally identifying information" except any GitHub/GitLab/BitBucket usernames used during GCI.

The blog metadata must include at least:

  • 8 data models
  • 50 data files.
  • The repositories you interacted with
  • The GCI tasks you completed linked to the relevant git commits and/or PRs.
  • The mentors who you worked with, identified by their GitHub/GitLab usernames only.
  • The mentors who interacted with your tasks, identified by their GitHub/GitLab usernames only.

The blog content may include, but not limited to, the following things :

  • Prior experience (newcomer/already a contributor to some OSS projects/ex-GCI)
  • Things you kept in mind when solving tasks (eg. communication with mentors, researching before claiming tasks etc.)
  • Learnings during GCI until now (eg. particular technologies, git guidelines, open source, etc.)
  • Perception of GCI
  • Any difficulty you faced during tasks and most importantly how you overcome them.

This must be original work and must be in your own words. Any assets you use must be Creative Commons and attributed accordingly, or be your own original work.
