MapServer: Make a video tutorial on how to install MS4W on Windows

1.Make a short video (2 minutes or more) on how to download and install MS4W (MapServer for Windows) on a Windows machine, and upload it to Youtube.

  • MS4W homepage: http://ms4w.com
  • Use the *setup.exe installer
  • During the install be sure to also download one of GeoMOOSE or Mapbender packages
  • Install at the root of your drive (e.g. C:/ or D:/)
  • After installing, click on the shortcut on your desktop named "MS4W-Localhost" (which should open your browser to the MS4W local page)
  • At bottom of that page, click on one of the GeoMOOSE or Mapbender demo links and show a map in your browser
  • Also, click on the shortcut on your desktop named "MS4W-Shell", and execute the following inside that shell window:
    • mapserv -v
      • (this shows how to execute MapServer at the commandline)
  • upload the video to Youtube
  • in the video properties on Youtube, set the license to "Creative Commons"
  • You are not required to talk in the video, if you don't want to; but you should at least have text inside the video for the major steps

2.Please also add your video on the MapServer wiki at: https://github.com/mapserver/mapserver/wiki/MapServer-Google-Code-In-2018#ms4w-video

3.Please subscribe to the MS4W mailing list (subscribe at http://lists.ms4w.com/mailman/listinfo/ms4w-users) and send an email there to share your video to the MS4W community. Thank you! :)
