CESIUM: OK, you already built a Liquid Galaxy for other task, is there any other application you can try?
The Liquid Galaxy concept is behind a cluster of computers running together showing up maps and overlayed contents. Google Earth is our defacto standar for this, and the experience is amazing, but there're plenty of other possibilities. A not so new for us, but for you, is CESIUM. CesiumJS is a JavaScript library for 3D maps on the web. https://cesium.com/docs/tutorials/getting-started/ The point is that instead of running a Google Earth monolythic app in every computer you will launch a Chromium browser and run them simultaneously with Cesium.
You can take a look at the code of GSoC 2016 student Abhishek Potnis:
https://github.com/abhishekvp/cesium-lg
Task is: Get the Abhishek code and run it on your 2 or 3 liquid galaxy system already installed. (If not you can search for the task to make it so) and have Cesium running on your system.
Record a .mp4 video of 2 minutes showing the app running and explaining about your experience, and troubles if any finded on the installation process.
Delivery is: sen the .mp4 video to lgcodein@gmail.com and post it here for mentor review
