Import an open data set into PostgreSQL
There are many public and open data sets available for download. Choose any public or open data set and create a step-by-step walk through of importing that data into PostgreSQL. Write a simple query against imported data showing a record count, a minimum value and a maximum value.
The final step-by-step instructions may be submitted as an OpenOffice document, PDF document or link to a published blog post. Note: This dataset must be in a flat file format, and cannot already be a setup database that just needs to be "restored". (CSVs, TSVs, TXTs, XLSXs count, SQL does not.) Your submission must also include a licensing phrase.
Example for CC-BY licensing: "This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License." Note that your GCI public display name will be used for attribution.
