The goal of this task is the use of pg_upgrade (formerly called pg_migrator) to upgrade an older version instance to a newer version instance which makes the instance compatible to the new features and functionalities.

pg_upgrade supports upgrades from 8.4.X and later to the current major release of PostgreSQL, including snapshot and beta releases.

The expected submission for this project is a video tutorial explaining what steps should be taken to upgrade a PostgreSQL database using pg_upgrade, in a simple and straightforward manner, for beginners to use as reference.
