For reorganising the Meilix (https://github.com/fossasia/meilix/) Linux Kiosk Distribution we put the code of meilix-artwork containing the plymouth themes for the bootscreen into a repository of it own (https://github.com/fossasia/meilix-artwork). You require some git and travis knowledge to set your fork up and make it "debuild" a deb package locally.

1. Read online resources about activating installed Plymouth themes e.g. https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Plymouth/
2. Fork the meilix-artwork repository, clone it locally and build your own deb packages
3. Test the deb package by installing them on an ubuntu system. Does it work?
4. Report about your experiences and difficulties in the gitter.im channel of Meilix (https://gitter.im/fossasia/meilix).
