MetaBrainz Foundation
Research and create interesting infographics
MetaBrainz has many interesting projects, and there is a lot of "cross-brainz pollination" between them. This creates opportunities for visualizing a lot of interesting data and facts. So here is what you have to do:
- Find interesting facts about MetaBrainz Foundation or/and its projects that you think our audience will find useful or amazing! :D
- Some examples could be: Total number of listens on ListenBrainz, number of active editors on MusicBrainz, total number of edits in a day, etc. Here is where we posted about the difference between various entities on MusicBrainz: https://twitter.com/MusicBrainz/status/951038058375340032
- You will want to track down project leads to get your facts right. Find them on #metabrainz, the IRC channel. We are a helpful lot, just mention you are from GCI and post your question. Wait for a while, someone will answer your query.
- Once you have your facts right (well done!), go ahead and compile it in a picture. You can use any tool you are comfortable with. There are many online collage makers as well. Submit a .jpeg or .png format image. Make the picture available under a CC Attribution license .
