Create a social media style guide for Facebook
A social media style guide is the go-to source for how our brand will appear on social media. It includes brand colors, visual guidelines and everything else that distinguishes your brand on social media.
The goal is that with a style guide we create uniformity in our posts, and can allow more than one person to post, having the same goal in mind.
Your Facebook style guide should include:
Hashtag Usage: Not everyone uses hashtags the same way. Some person just will choose to use a lot of hashtag at a time. Keep things organized by outlining the maximum number of hashtags to be used in a post. Create and list out specific hashtags for Sugar Labs
Visual Guidelines: Create a standard for the kind and quality of images and videos that should be uploaded on our Facebook page. a rage of Sizes and Quality Also add:
- the kind of font types to be used
- Acceptable color combinations
How our logo would be placed and background choices
posting times How often should we post to engage our audience(how many times a week?
Don'ts The kind of languages that should be totally avoided so as not to course any offense to our audience
