Currently Sugar Labs website is using Bootstrap 3.3.7 with an older version of JQuery for styling purposes. It requires several other plugins including Owl-Carousal and many others to get the desired look. But due to the fact that Bootstrap 4 has Carousal and many other components inbuilt and also include various performance and usage improvements, we are thinking of updating Sugar Labs website to Bootstrap version 4.1.x.

Create a detailed plan of a suitable approach to achieve this, keeping in mind that other features should remain intact. Also code redundancy should be minimized and integrity must be maintained.
