Read everything you can about NetJSON, the data interchange format for networks, starting from what is NetJSON? and Why NetJSON, then look at its frontpage on netjson.org and ask yourself the question: how can we improve the first impression that people get when first knowing about the project? How can we help visitors understand what NetJSON is and its purposes more easily and in less time?

Immagine a new design for the frontpage that is attractive but simple to maintain and update over time.

Have you got some ideas? If yes star and fork the NetJSON repository on github, clone it on your local computer and start working in the website directory.

Prepare a one page theme in HTML and CSS (lightweight javascript additions are fine) with the following features:

• responsive
• readable
• lightweight
• has the possibility of expanding contents without changing pages

We would like the design to convey our commitment to create a new ecosystem for open source networking software which will lay the groundwork for the networks of the 21st century to thrive.

When ready, open a pull request and ensure to follow up on any comments left by your mentors.

We cannot assure that your new design will be chosen and published on the website, but your contribution will surely help us to improve and the process will also help you improve your general skills. Therefore the task will be considered completed when the mentors will either approve the pull request or close it.
