Instruments in MusicBrainz can be linked to Wikidata, and will have images fetched from Wikimedia Commons. However some instruments don't yet have a suitable image in Commons. Additionally to be in Commons it must be Creative Commons licensed, which is why some Wikipedia images are not suitable.

Your task is to:

• Take a picture of an instrument that does not already have a picture in Commons, (or a suitably licensed one)
• Upload it to Commons
• Be sure to read all the rules and guidelines and make sure to name and tag the image with the appropriate Commons tags.
• The image should be as high quality as possible (no low-resolution thumbnails).

The image must be your own work.

Provide the Wikimedia Commons link of the image, and a link to the MusicBrainz Instrument it belongs to when submitting the task.

Note: If the photograph you want to take is of an Instrument that is not already in MusicBrainz, you should do the Create an INST ticket task "Research an instrument not already in the database" first.
