Blog Post

Note :- This task is only allowed for those students who have already completed three tasks.

Please write a blog post with at least 300 words describing your GCI experience till now.

The blog post can involve but not limited to following things :

• Prior experience (newcomer/already a contributor to some OSS projects/ex-GCI)
• What were the general things you kept in mind when solving tasks (eg. communication with mentors, researching before claiming tasks etc.)
• Some particular learnings during GCI until now (eg. particular technologies, git guidelines etc.)
• What general perception did GCI provide you about Open Source
• Any difficulty you faced during tasks and most importantly how you overcome them.

You can also include things which can help in outreach for coala like :

• How did you find your way to coala?
• What do you think about mentor support?
• How should a newcomer go about exploring things after they join coala?

Also, feel free to write this at any time during GCI. You are encouraged to write such blog posts at different time during GCI period to give future participants a perspective about different times during GCI period.

This must be original work and must be in your own words. Any assets you use must be Creative Commons and attributed accordingly, or be your own original work.
