XWiki
Fix any Jira issue listed on https://jira.xwiki.org
If it's your first task it's highly recommended to start with Become a community member.
Prerequisites
- The student will need to have an account on http://www.github.com.
Objective
Most of the tasks have been selected because they were easy but if you are up for a higher challenged you can go to https://jira.xwiki.org and fix any issue there (which is not already listed as part of GCI).
Requirements
- navigate in https://jira.xwiki.org and select a Jira issue you think you can do (note that some issue may already been done and not cleaned up or still undecided and may not be accepted by the core teem to feel free to discuss them)
- assign yourself (so that nobody takes care of it while you are working on it)
- do what is required by the jira issue
Expected Outcome
- The student must follow best practices described in http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/DevelopmentPractices
- The student must commit the changes and create a pull request The summary of the Pull Request must have a first line matching the JIRA issue following by a colon and then the title of this issue Add a comment in the jira issue mentioning your pull request and provide a link to it
- The student should indicate the link to the Jira issue
Getting help
