Website: Improve Loading Times and Code Quality of FOSSASIA Google Code-In website and Ensure All Technologies are Open Source

OBJECTIVE
Our goal is to make a great website to showcase students and their work at GCI. At times code gets merged quickly even though it is not always up to standard. Your task it to improve code quality, loading times of the site and ensure that no proprietary services are used to run the website. Please ensure that your improvements are . Avoid minor simplistic changes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Use Git repo for this year's website is https://github.com/fossasia/gci17.fossasia.org
- Open an issue or indicate you work on an existing issue
- Fork the repository and make your changes in your own fork to improve speed / load of website, code quality and take our proprietary services
- Make a pull request to the repository
Notes:
- If you would like to use images, you can select photos from the FOSSASIA Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/fossasia/
- Keep the size of the site small
- Ensure it works on mobile devices
- Announce your work on twitter, FB or another network
EXPECTED OUTCOME
- Substantial improvements
- Accepted pull request
- Links to other relevant sites for the article
- Relevant text and image, sliders or other new features
- Post a message about your task on Twitter (Weibo or another service) e.g. "Improving the website for #FOSSASIA #GCI. Check out http://gci17.fossasia.org @fossasia @hpdang @mariobehling"
