For this task you have to write a guide on how to create a video tutorial. Research this subject in detail, then write the article in Markdown.

Before working on this task, you should already have knowledge and experience on how to create tutorial videos. You should have created at least one video tutorial in the past.

The guide should contain:

• a list of several freely available tools used to create the video (recording, editing, etc)
• sections for things to do / things to avoid while creating the tutorial video
• a step-by-step process of creating the video
• other useful tips & tricks

The article should have screenshots explaining certain steps, when writing in detail isn't enough. The list of tools should be available on all major operating systems, otherwise organize them by OS.
