Marble uses a beautiful compass icon as its logo. It is well known and used as the product (launcher) icon for the Android app Marble Maps as well.

The style of most other launcher icons on Android is simpler: Less details, less use of perspective. The goal of this task is to create a simplified variant of the Marble icon (just the icon, no text) that follows the Material Design guidelines. At the same time it should be similar to the original icon such that existing users are immediately familiar with it.
