Google Code-in

OBJECTIVE

We would like to find out what teachers think about the GCI program with FOSSASIA. Please interview a teacher and ask them about their ideas about GCI. You can make the interview using your phone and shoot a video, that you post on YouTube or simply write down the interview and add it to your blog.

This task can be done by itself or as part of a row of blogging tasks, where you set up a blog and develop it.

REQUIREMENTS

• Make a list of questions to answer and add them in the video description on YouTube or in the post. Include the following:
  • Ask the teacher where he/she is from, which school he/she works at and what he/she thinks about the GCI contest
  • Add any other questions that could be interesting
• Add links to “FOSSASIA” and the “GCI” page
• Add images, photos or videos to the article
• Share a link to your blog on twitter, Facebook or elsewhere

EXPECTED OUTCOME

• Video interview or written post published on blog with a link to the Google Code-In student website and FOSSASIA
• Posted on twitter and other social media mentioning FOSSASIA
• Provide a link to a tweet, Facebook or other social network about the task, post could be like e.g. "Interviewed a teacher about #FOSSASIA #OpenSource community and #GCI. My blog here http://blog-link-here @fossasia @hpdang @mariobehling"
• Please ensure you only claim one task per blog post done
