Objective

Loklak is a server application which is able to collect messages from various sources, including twitter. The server contains a search index and a peer-to-peer index sharing interface. Set up loklak_server locally on your system by following the documentation and collect at least 3 million tweets. Also join the team and channels.

Requirements

• Github account
• Understanding of set up
• Join the project channel at https://gitter.im/loklak/loklak
• Join the loklak team on GitHub

Expected Outcome

• The student should have set up the loklak server successfully on the system and tested it with a sample query
• A set of screenshots for the localhost application running
• at least 3 million messages collected
• tweet result on your twitter or any other social network with a screenshot and link to http://loklak.org, e.g. "#BigData Build a 3 million #SocialMessage #SearchIndex with #p2psearch #loklak @elastic http://loklak.org @fossasia #GCI"
• Star 5 repositories on the loklak GitHub org
• Joined the public team and channels
