Create overview documentation for Open Source design tools

This task requires some knowledge of wiki-markup.

We try to work together with community members as much as possible on design related tasks. In order for everyone to contribute we only use open source tools.

Unfortunately we're lacking documentation on the tools we use, what they're used for and where to get them among other things.

We would like you to create such a page:

  1. if you don't already have an account for any of the Wikimedia projects, create a user account
  2. Create a subpage "Open Source Design Tools" of your user page, similar to https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:yourUsername/Open_Source_Design_Tools (replace "yourUsername" here)
  3. On this page, similar to this page for example, set up a structure to accommodate for the documentation of the open source design tools.
  4. The tools we need documentation for are: Inkscape, Scribus, draw.io, Krita, Gimp, Libre Office Draw and Pencil.
  5. Every Software should have a short description of what kind of work it is good for (you either have to write these descriptions yourself or you must properly quote, as we have zero tolerance regarding plagiarism), where to download it, on which operating systems it runs, and 1 or 2 screenshots (you might find some screenshots on Wikimedia Commons).
  6. When you're done please post a link to your page.
  7. More than one student who can work on this task so please don't be disappointed if your version does not get chosen in the end - we still all learned something together working on this! :)
