We're all used to the standard TV guides in a grid. There's plenty of variants but they are more or less the same basic concept - rows for channels, columns for the hours. But now with Hulu, netflix, amazon video, and all the streaming sites, those guides are quickly becoming obsolete. We still haven't seen a good replacement though, that lets you see what's new on TV (traditional and streaming), what to watch right now, how to plan, etc. We think that the design-of-the-future will come from a teenager that isn't too used to the old way. So this is the challenge: Figure out a way to make a great TV guide for the 21th century that is so good that everyone wants to use it. And let's make it open source to everyone can use it - for free.
