Attend a local Drupal meetup.
There are local Drupal groups in most of the cities around the world. These groups hold frequent meetups (usually 1-2 per month). Find one nearby and attend a meetup. Explain you're taking part in GCI and discuss your interests and experiences. Make sure to bring a parent/guardian!
Deliverables - Tweet about it while you're there with hashtag '#DrupalGCI'. Also, blog about your experiences at the meetup.
