Prerequisite:

• Fork any of the Systers projects and clone it on your machine.

Simple Definition:

An opportunity to get familiar with basic git commands.

Steps to Take:

• Create a new branch locally and assign a suitable name to it.
• Explore the code.
• Make lots of comments (e.g. update README.md, find uncommented pieces of code, etc.). Ask mentors if you get confused.
• Push the change to your repository.
• Generate a PR to the develop branch in the upstream repository.

Required:

As you work on this task, you should join and remain in #gci-general and the relevant project channel on Systers Opensource Slack to get help, feedback, and guidance from mentors and other developers.
