Events are not filtered properly, if only from or to date is queried. Your task would be to change the search logic according to filter criteria.

Steps to Take:

• Create a new branch in your fork to solve this issue.
• Setup VMS and explore the application
• Reproduce #337 issue, reported on github.
• Fix the code.
• Push all the changes to your new branch and create a pull request
