1) Objective

Increase the FOSSASIA community network or update an existing community on http://fossasia.net

2) Requirements

Add a local project, community or any other Open Source community in Sri Lanka to the FOSSASIA network map on http://fossasia.github.io/#map

3) Expected outcome

• accepted pull requests
• new or updated community on map
• Tweet about the upload

Process:

1. First fill your data using FOSSASIA API Generator http://api.fossasia.org/generator/ and create json file (press "OK - generate..." ). Save the file in your pc. Please ensure that the community does not exist yet in the directory or check that it needs an update.
2. Then upload it to the github: You need to make a pull request to https://github.com/fossasia/fossasia-communities.
3. After that copy the link to your web hosted “raw file” in the github fossasia-communities repository - the URL.
4. Add the link (URL) of your “raw file” to the FOSSASIA API directory here: https://github.com/fossasia/directory.api.fossasia.net/blob/master/directory.json.
5. Make sure to Tweet about your upload, the following tweet: I added a new community from "add name of country or city here" to the #FOSSASIA network @fossasia @hpdang Check out http://fossasia.net
