IRC/FOSSASIA: Learn to use Internet Relay Chat and join our Channel
Objective
Most of the open source organization use IRC as their primary mode of communication. So learn to continue with your open source journey you would be requiring to learn the IRC protocols.
Requirements
- Install an IRC Client.
- Learn to register your IRC Nick
- Join IRC channel #fossasia and say something along the lines "Hello, glad to join the FOSSASIA community!"
- There are other IRC channels that you can join like #fedora, #fedora-apps, #fedora-admin, #python. Idle on this channel and see how people communicate and collaboratively work on projects.
Post a tweet or a short blog post about your experience of using IRC and IRC etiquettes
