An app icon is an entry point for an app,it is necessary for it to be beautiful. First impression does matter for anything which exists in this world. It is a way by which we can differ from 1 million other apps in this world, as well as to make it unique.

Design an application icon for all densities and screens of Malaria app. There is an existing application icon of Malaria Application Android in github repository, you can take hint from there. Try to keep it simple and indicative.
