Our classical music guidelines require using ; in join phrases (between release artists), followed by a space. This makes it pretty common, so it should be added to our join phrase cleanup at https://github.com/metabrainz/musicbrainz-server/blob/65f54a1247f0c1003b7dc9cc0a47b96463b97794/root/static/scripts/edit/MB/Control/ArtistCredit.js#L54

Note that this function seems to be broken in general at the moment. If you can fix that, that's awesome, but if not, you can just add this new section so that it works when someone fixes the whole function (http://tickets.musicbrainz.org/browse/MBS-7012)
