Most of our entity icons have a small (16x16) version, apart from the standard 32x32 one. The area, place and work ones don't. You should create the smaller versions (make sure they look clear enough) and ideally upload them to github (at https://github.com/metabrainz/musicbrainz-server/tree/master/root/static/images/entity)
