Music Blocks: Tempo Representation
Also, rhythmic counterpoint. I like this bouncy ball thing. It may be good for representing timing and tempo. See. Also of note: Uses tone.js. Also, checkout: exercise 5/5 of echo software (link above) is interesting how it shortens the length to show how different meters may overlap. This is better for looped rhythms than for anything else.
This is meant to help students who are unfamiliar with the concept of tempo.
