Music Blocks: Write a "The Art of Mouse-Turtle Counterpoint" Handout

Beauty is in the "eye of the beholder", as they say and is somewhat subjective.

However, there is also a degree of skill involved.

Many users are struggling to have the art and music work harmoniously together, with good counterpoint.

This task asks that you work with Mentor Devin Ulibarri to create a handout that helps explain to beginners how to make successful counterpoint between the art and music in Music Blocks.

Helpful Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counterpoint

Discuss:

  1. Timing (turtle/music moves by itself, silence/no-motion, turtle/music move together)
  2. Musical/Art Motions (parallel, oblique, contrary)
  3. "Strong" vs. "Weak" motions in both Turtle and Music.
  4. Implications of the aforementioned motions on artistic outcomes of a Music Blocks file.

We could put something like the following in the package to help a reader understand the motions of music vs. turtle: https://www.ulibarri.website/owncloud/index.php/s/liVdFLIcws3T32e
