Identify the strings responsible for breaking webchat

Periodically, a student using a non-webchat client sends something to the chat room that causes all the webchat clients to stop functioning correctly, even when they reconnect (likely because the poisoned message is in the archive)

Using a test room (not gci@chat.copyleftgames.org) and an external XMPP client, discover the exact message components that cause this. This is likely XHTML content such as or , but we need to narrow this down in order to fix it. Discover further if the same happens in private messages.
