TemplateData is a structured piece of information in Wikipedia templates that allows VisualEditor to create an interactive dialog when adding them into the page. TemplateData defines the parameters that a template accepts along with their information, like the description of the parameters, their order, which parameter is mandatory, etc, along with the details of the template in general.
In Wikipedia, TemplateData can be added through a visual tool in template pages.
