MediaWiki's "MultimediaViewer" extension (see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:MultimediaViewer ) creates a credit line from the file name, description page URL, source and license. At least the first two tend to be terribly long, making the result somewhat useless. In short, your task is to drop the title and shorten the URL. The logic is mostly in mmv.EmbedFileFormatter.js; you will have to touch a few other files to get the page id there.
