Haikuports has many patches that allow applications to be built on Haiku. This task is to find one of those and review the patch to verify that it can be upstreamed. You will need to review it to make sure that it won't break the build on other systems that aren't Haiku. If the patch would break the build on other systems, see if you can modify it so that it won't. Then have it reviewed by a mentors and if/when it meets the requirements it should then be sent to the upstream maintainers.
