Redesign the front page of our web site. The only requirement is to adhere to a consistent style and make it impressive. Be creative. The design should be responsive to large and small screens (e.g., mobile). The format can be images or html/css/javascript mockup.

Search the web for design inspiration before working on this, but you must submit a completely original design of your own creation that does not use 3rd party images from the web.

Submit your design as functioning html files or in whatever raw editable format you used along with a screenshot preview in PNG format. You're encouraged to also submit a brief write-up (this can be a text file or detailed in a comment) telling us about your design.
