The snapcraft team publishes short video guides in https://www.youtube.com/snapcraftio. The task consists on adding the English subtitles to the video using the youtube subtitle editor.

For this task, you need to have Ubuntu installed: https://bit.ly/ugciubuntu For this task, you need to know snapcraft: https://bit.ly/ugcisnapcraft

Steps:

• Join the #ubuntu-google IRC chatroom: https://bit.ly/ugcichat
• Say hi to elopio, kyrofa, sergiusens and popey.
• Select a short video without English subtitles from https://bit.ly/ugcisvideos Do not select the longer office hours videos.
• Watch and follow the video instructions.
• Ask popey for the script of the video in English.
• On the youtube video player, click the settings button > subtitles > add subtitles.
• Synchronize the English script with the video.
